For Many Many Churches, God Is Taking Away The Things They Have Depended On

BECAUSE THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN OUT AGAINST THE LORD AND REFUSE TO OBEY HIM HE IS TAKING AWAY THE THINGS THEIR CHURCHES HAVE DEPENDED ON.  THE LORD WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE AWAY EVEN THEIR ROOTS, THEIR CHILDREN, THEIR REASONS FOR REMAINING, UNTIL - UNLESS THEY REPENT AND OBEY HIS VOICE SPEAKING TO THEM TODAY- THEY WITHER AWAY AND DIE.  THEIR BUILDINGS FALL. AND THEIR MEMORY DISAPPEARS FROM THE PLACE THEY ONCE EXISTED.

 

This is a very serious truth.  This is a very serious charge God is laying at the door of most American congregations, American churches.  Our biblical illiteracy is gross and beyond belief - especially in those churches which claim to be biblically based.  We have failed to study the scripture for ourselves, for our day.  We have believed that we know how "this works."  But "this" is not God.  Some even claim they know how God works.  But God, God's work, can not be captured and perpetuated by human knowing. 

We are being judged by our works.  We are being judged by our lack of being like Jesus.  Our lack of openness to GOD.  Even our traditions mock us.  Our theologies betray us.  Our lives have left the will of God.  Our word, due to our ignorance and arrogance, speaks out against the Lord and our lives shout refusal to obey him, even his revealed word.
